Shooting High Kennel is a small family run kennel that breeds and trains quality German Shorthairs. We pride ourselves in breeding dogs with good temperamant, confirmation, trainability and natural hunting instinct. The most important trait to me is Livability. The dog must be calm enough to live with.

Our mission has been hunting,breeding,maintaining, and improving the German Shorthair Breed. With every litter comes an excitement with yet another generation of quality offspring. These German Shorthairs are more than just hunting dogs, they are a real joy, a loyal companion, a hunting partner, and a member of the family. We have made countless friends through these dogs. We are involved in North American Versatile Hunting Association (NAVHDA), AKC and UKC coonhunts and bench shows, Pheasants forever, Quail forever, Root River Houndsman Association.  The motto at Shooting High Kennel is the perfect pet is the one that you and your family can live with.
